In honor of today being National Hairstyle Appreciation Day, I thought I’d share some hairstyles we can all appreciate, no matter how bad it is. Let’s face it, it takes a lot of, for lack of a better word, balls to switch up your hairstyle. It can be a huge commitment! I have serious commitment issues so I don’t typically stray too far from the norm. But I can definitely appreciate the people who do! I mean, obvs I’ll poke a little fun at some of the following…but deep down, I’m sorta jealous. Enjoy!
The 80s Appreciation
Seems like every style was taken to the next level. Especially those Nelson brothers. rawwwr
The 90s Appreciation
butterfly clips, multiple messy buns and grunge. We just couldn’t make up our minds.
The Early 2000s Appreciation
Who didn’t love a good chunky highlight and bleach blonde multi colored hair?
The White Person Tries Corn Rows Appreciation
My only concern: burning of the scalp.
The Mullet Appreciation
Obvs never going out of style.
The Mens Appreciation
The ‘Oh No She Didn’t’ Appreciation
Remember when: Kim bleached her hair?! Beyonce had bangs?! Keri cut all her gorgeous curl hair off?!
The Effortless Appreciation
Someone please tell me it takes a lot of time to look this effortless. Please?
The Short Hair Don’t Care Appreciation
These babes look good no matter what. Bitches.
The Shaved Head Appreciation
Defs need a perfect shaped head to pull this off. Something tells me these women don’t really care though.
The Rachel Appreciation
Always imitated. Never duplicated.
The Kate Gosselin Appreciation
Never imitated. Never duplicated.
Seems like everyday there’s some new hair trend, but who cares. If you’re feeling it rock it. Kate did.
Until next time!
