So, Mother’s Day is less than two weeks away (May 10th). If you’re anything like us, you love your mom so so much, but have a hard time finding the perfect gift for her. This usually ends with scrambling the Saturday before Mother’s Day and ending up with a gift card. Not this year! This year we’ve made it easy for you by compiling a list of ten thoughtful and affordable gifts for good ol’ m-o-m. Because mama, in the words of Tupac, you are appreciated.
1. Anthropologie Monogram Mug ($8)
Anthro puts their signature chic touch on an old classic.
2. Birchbox Subscription (starting at $30)
Because who doesn’t love a box of goodies arriving at their doorstep?!
3. Soulcycle Ride ($20 for new riders)
For the active mom! Even better- take the class with her. She’ll love it! (shout out to our girl Bucci!)
4. IVJ Monogram Coin Necklace (starting at $74)
OK, OK, shameless self promotion… after all this is our blog! But really, we’ve gotten so much positive feedback from the ladies on this one. Also, for a limited time we’re giving you the option to add more charms! [For our domestic shoppers: order by May 3rd for a standard shipping delivery by Mother’s Day.]
Either your mom is up for trying new scents or she has a go-to perfume. If you know she has a favorite we highly suggest sticking with that! Just because she already has a bottle doesn’t mean she wouldn’t appreciate a travel friendly size that she can keep in her tote.
6. Beach Bag (Target $34.99)
One of many options out there. Since you probably spend more time at Target than you care to admit, you can pick this up on your next trip 🙂
7. Soul Mate Charity Tee ($18)
Jessica Simpson partnered up with Destination Maternity to create this adorable tee. The best part about this? $5 of every purchase is donated to Baby Buggy!
8. Family Portrait
This is a great gift for new moms or moms with young children. Photographs are the best way to capture a moment in time! Support a local photographer or visit a portrait studio.
9. Spa Treatment
This is kind of a no brainer, but figured we’d throw it in anyway. If you can afford it, no mom is gonna say no to a spa day!!
10. Flowers, duh!
Many moms claim “I don’t need gifts” and if you think she’s being honest (really think about this one), at the very least you should get her flowers and a card. Brownie points if you know her favorite flower!
If for no other purpose, we hope this gift guide reminded you that Mother’s Day is coming up and that you should probably get Dear Mama a gift of some sort. Good luck!
